The items pictured above were all made using the E6000 Glue. This glue is waterproof, acid free and bonds stronger than super glue.
The first step in making the items above, or any other creative project, is to select your embellishments. Use buttons, rhinestones or just about anything else you can think of. All of the items above were made in a matter of minutes.
Make sure you are working in a well ventilated area before using this glue. You project surface should be clean and dry. The easiest way to apply this glue is by using a toothpick or similar type object.
Once you are ready open your glue bottle and puncture the sealed top. Use the toothpick or other similar object and place a small amount of glue on the tip. Using the tooth pick place the glue on the surface of your embellishment. Press the embellishment to your project and allow the object to dry for ten minutes.
This glue has an odor to it. It takes a good 24 hours for that odor to disperse. After 24 hours your object will be fully cured and ready to go. Your item will be washer and dryer safe. The glue is acid free and will bond anything. The possibilities are endless from socks and shoes to lamp shades and more. Our dog frame project was made using this adhesive.
We used buttons as our embellishments. The buttons on the socks were flat backed and ready to glue. The buttons we chose for the hat had shanks that needed to be cut off before gluing. We used a small pair of wire snips to cut the shanks off making the back of the button flat and smooth.
